Laura Kemper
Lead Early Childhood Teacher
Laura grew up in Portland, Oregon. After attaining her Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University she began work in the commercial design industry, which involved 14 years of learning and teaching about ergonomic design in the workplace. During this time, Laura and her husband had the opportunity to live, work and travel in Europe and San Francisco, California. Returning to Portland, it was while involved in her daughter’s cooperative preschool she found her true passion learning about the education and development of the very young. Laura received her AMI primary Guide certification from Montessori NW and has embraced her role in the primary classroom. Laura and her husband live in Salt Lake city sharing their love for fly fishing while caring for the family pets as their daughters enjoy their own path attending college in Washington state and California.
