Carol was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil and has a BA in Social Communications from the University Anhembi Morumbi. She moved to the U.S in 2016 through a work and study cultural exchange program, living with an American host family and taking care of their children for four years. During this experience, Carol found her calling as a caregiver. She is an outdoor enthusiast and spends most of her free time in nature, climbing, hiking, camping and exploring new places and cultures with her fiancé and puppy. Carol’s love for the outdoors led her to an opportunity working as a Mentor in a Wilderness Therapeutic Program for teenagers struggling with mental health issues. While researching about innovative and collaborative education systems she discovered Montessori and felt that her educational beliefs were aligned with those principles and she is now pursuing her CGMS Infant Toddler Certification while still contributing to empower students through their journeys.
