Fernanda Machado

Teaching Assistant

Fernanda Machado was born and raised in Brazil. She earned her first bachelor’s degree in Communication – Marketing and Advertising in 2016 and worked for a Catholic publishing company that developed social projects in schools. Later, Fernanda pursued her passion for education and completed a second bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education in 2020.

Her journey in education began during her internship at an international Montessori school in Brazil, where she worked for four years. After moving to the United States, Fernanda continued to expand her experience through a cultural exchange program as an au pair and later supported families in implementing Montessori principles at home.

Fernanda believes that children thrive in environments filled with kindness, curiosity, and respect. She is passionate about helping each child develop independence and confidence while feeling loved and valued for who they are.

Outside the classroom, Fernanda enjoys hiking in the summer, surfing, snowboarding, painting, and spending time with friends and family.
