Shaylen Haney

Teaching Assistant

Shaylen Haney graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Michigan State University in 2025. Originally from Metro Detroit, Michigan, Shaylen recently relocated to Utah to continue working with young children while exploring the Montessori philosophy more deeply. In undergrad, she worked with children 4 months old to 5 years old as a staff member at the MSU Spartan Child Development Center. Shaylen has also conducted original research on childhood object attachment and is passionate about emotional development and early learning. Currently, Shaylen is preparing to pursue a PhD in developmental psychology. In her free time, Shaylen enjoys running, scouring vintage shops, and spending time outdoors with her family.
