Parent/Infant Program

(prenatal – 18 mos)
9:00 AM – Noon

Parents and their infants meet with a certified Infant teacher for this weekly class. The environment is carefully prepared to support infant and parent needs. The teacher introduces a lesson for each class focusing on infant development and the Montessori Method. The atmosphere is warm and nurturing and allows for exploration of individual needs including how best to support the child in the home environment. This program serves as an introduction to Montessori philosophy for the parents and the child.

Toddler Program

(ages 18 mos – 3 yrs)

The Toddler class offers a rich, safe and loving sensorial environment where the children are encouraged to develop motor and social skills, experiment with cause and effect relationships, practice self care skills, discover colors, shapes, textures, sounds, smells and tastes. The classroom is carefully prepared to meet the needs of the child without being overly stimulating.

Early Childhood (EC) Program

(ages 3 – 6 yrs)

This three-year program allows the child to focus upon ordering her environment and to become familiar with academic concepts through concrete manipulation. This results in a love of learning which prepares the child for a lifetime of education. Typically the EC student adds Enrichment Class in the afternoons by about 3 1/2 to 4 years of age, then continues on to afternoons of Elementary Prep by about 5 years of age. The typical Early Childhood graduate is fully prepared to move onto our Elementary program.

EC + Enrichment Program

(ages 3 – 4 yrs)

We offer this program to children who are ready socially and emotionally for a longer day but not yet ready for the academic rigor of the Elementary Prep program. Students participate in a typical morning Early Childhood class. In the afternoon, emphasis is placed on lunch-time manners, practical life, care of self and environment, independence, number and letter recognition and penmanship.

EC + Elementary Prep Program

(ages 5 – 6 yrs)

8:45 AM – 2:45 PM

Elementary Prep gives the child an opportunity to prepare for the next step in a successful education. We offer this class to children who are socially and emotionally ready for a longer day as well as additional academic challenges. Students participate in a typical morning Early Childhood class and focus upon special lessons in Literacy and Math in the afternoon, often joining the Elementary Class for special lessons.

Elementary Program

(1st – 6th grades)
Monday thru Friday
8:30 AM – 3:00 PM

This six-year program allows the child to focus upon ordering his mind and to become familiar with abstract academic concepts. A myriad of opportunities are provided so that there is no limit to academic or developmental achievement. Camp-outs, outdoor team building experiences and weekly field trips extend the classroom and result in a caring, family-like group.

Middle School Program

(7th – 9th grades)
Monday – Friday
8:30A – 3:00 PM

Breakfast Club

7:45 AM dropoff

The child develops Practical Life skills, good hygiene and nutritional awareness by preparing the body and mind with a nutritious, peaceful and productive start to the day.
